Working with a passionate committee of steam enthusiasts was always going to be fun. These folk really know their stuff, right down to the most intricate detail.
The Museum’s star attractions are the giant steam-powered water-pumping engines which act as centrepiece for the story of London’s water from your toilet to your tap. Getting the best stories and telling them well meant close collaboration with the in-house experts. The subsequent success of the project was due to a close working team effort. Since its refurbishment, visitor numbers have almost doubled and are 15% above predicted estimates.
Well done everyone.
