Testimonials

Our guidebook for Cardigan Castle was a unique project. It needed to tell the castle’s story, but be more eye catching and easy to read than a traditional guidebook. It also needed to be completed in time for a very strict and important deadline.

Tony and his team went beyond the call to duty to ensure the finished guide was not only beautiful and engaging, but also that it was here in time for the announcement of our winning the 2017 Restoration of the Year award on Channel 4’s Great British Buildings. Their unique and innovative understanding of interpretation and storytelling has made the guidebook a great success.

Highly recommended, a pleasure to work with and on our speed-dial for future projects.

I have worked with 52 Oaks on the BioParc projects in Colombia and Cyprus, and am impressed by the services they provide. I especially value their careful understanding of initial brief and creative response thereafter. There is a certain sophisticated flexibility in their approach and I have very much enjoyed our collaboration to date.

We’re so very pleased with the Museum’s new text panels that we’ve also commissioned Tony to write our guidebook. He’s professional, efficient and very good at his job. Thoroughly recommended and a pleasure to work with.

Tony’s enthusiasm for the project, and his experience in writing creatively for interpretation, shone through and made our decision to use him for the Hadrian’s Wall Project an easy one to take. His ability to maintain high standards whilst working under pressure was a major contribution to the success of the project.

Our work is important, so it is vital our documents do their job well. Tony and his associates seem to have a knack for transforming jargon and detail into essential reading. We keep his number close at hand.

I thought I would drop you a line to let you know how pleased we are with our new text panels. I have been stopped by several visitors already, telling me how interesting and informative they found the tour – thanks to your panels! Interpreting ‘curator speak’ into a language that everyone can understand is vitally important for any museum. I don’t know how you get so much information across so succinctly. We are proud of our new panels.

Please accept our appreciation of the work you have done with Lulu’s help in putting together such an eye-catching exhibit in what is hopefully going to develop into quite a visitor attraction in the town centre. It has been recognised that this turned out to be a far larger and more protracted undertaking than was first envisaged and everyone has commented on the excellent results. I think this is going to be an excellent advert for the work MR does around the Peak District and a good way of getting across some important information to some of the young folk who are likely to go out into the hills in the years to come.

We needed interpretation text for the galleries on two floors to a very strict deadline. Tony distilled an enormous amount of reference information to produce a series of punchy and compelling text panels, saving us weeks of work had we attempted it ourselves. Highly recommended, much appreciated and on our call list for future projects.

The opening of the Parker Museum marks a very proud moment for me. The moments and stories illustrated in the museum really showcase the brand’s great accomplishments and reflect Parker’s strong heritage and values.
